Default Ranger/Mesmer Build - Warrior Rape-age

Idea I've been playing with for a simple Ranger PvP build (I hope these aren't becoming too tiresome, slap me if they are)...

Ranger/Mesmer
Max domination, 8 expertise, dump the rest into marks

The idea here is simple: rape through energy denial. Obviously we've seen this kind of thing done a lot in light of combos like wastrel's worry + mind wrack, and I think the ranger gets that little extra "oomph" with it because of debilitating shot. This seems like the kind of thing we should have figured out already though, so sorry if this is a repeat build (I didn't see it in the build directory).


Echo
Debilitating Shot
Determined Shot
Mind Wrack
Wastrel's Worry
Signet of Weariness
Resurrection Signet
Lightning Reflexes

We should already have a sense of what needs to happen: Mind wrack, echo, debilitating shot, debilitating shot. Good start on sapping energy, makes debilitating shot more spammable, etc. At a glance it seems like a good anti-caster build, but my sense is that the lower energy pools of a warrior will make it especially vulnerable to mind wrack (am I correct in thinking that mind wrack deals chaos damage?). I tried to keep the build fairly energy-light, but I think I failed. Signet of weariness seems like good backup though, and expertise will get debilitating shot down to 7 energy a pop...

Tips/comments appreciated.

Forgot to Mention:

If for some reason you can't connect with debilitating shot (usually because of a high dodge percentage from a stance or spell or whatever), then use signet of weariness and determined shot instead. Resurrection signet and Lightning Reflexes are of obvious utility when things go wrong.

Why not do this:

Oath Shot
Debilitating Shot
Mind Wrack
Wrastels Worry
Whirling Defense
Drain Enchant
Signet of Weariness
Rez

Oath shot to recharge all your skills instead of just one. Drain enchant for energy management to maintain your skills + spells. Then whirling defense to have a near-perma defense skill on you.

The only problem would be attributes. So close to high domination, medium expertise and inspiration. Also you could maybe throw in a spirit of failure, not sure what attribute that is, that kills warrior/ranger energy like nothing else. Spirit of failure on one warrior and then use debilitating on another.

Can someone explain the Mesmers echo skill to me? I got it recently on my R/Me but i havent had the chance to play around with it. I looked it up on Wiki and it made a little sense, but when they tried to explain it in detail, they explained it in the scenario that you were using echo+arcane echo so it kinda threw me off.

Echo:
For 20 seconds, echo is replaced with the next skill you use. Echo acts as this skill for 20 seconds.

pretty self explanatory...

You start by using echo and then another skill like debilitating shot, the echo slot will then be replaced by debilitating shot, your skillbar should pass from:
Echo, Debilitating shot, etc..
to:
Debilitating shot (recharged), Debilitating shot (recharging), etc..

for 20 seconds, youll have 2 slots with the same skill.

nice build but it realy swallows energy like shit
i prefer warriors as my target also in gvg with me mindwracker (drain a warrior once till 0 energy then put mindwrack on and then a warrior uses fear me and drains his energy again to 0 giving it a nice dmg output )

or try this i owned 3 warriors in faction weekend with this and it easy owns warriors and other rangers in RA:

1. poison arrow
2. hunters arrow
3. determined arrow
4. troll urguent
5. whirling defense
6. dryder
7. kindle arrow
8. res signet

9 expertise
16 mark
11 WS

when they come running for ya fire hunters then poison and when they come hit you get whirling up (or dryder if a ele is botering you) and keep spamming determined till its dead (if more then 1 target on ya ass try huntershot on them then poison to keep the deg up), you can easy kill 1 by 1 before dryder/whirling is ended (keep troll up though)

Why not just use Pin Down, no need for evasion when they're limping towards you
